Pernod Ricard Gulf commissioned the design of their upcoming corporate office in Dubai, overlooking the JAFZA port, the largest commercial harbor in the city. The design subtly incorporates the company’s strong liquor brands while reflecting a modern and transparent work culture. The unique, awkward shape of the site presented challenges, but these were addressed by creating a central island that offsets the arc and trapezoidal shape of the site. With two glass facades, natural light floods the workspace, ensuring every area benefits from abundant daylight and views of the port. The strategic placement of boardrooms, meeting rooms, and staff hubs ensures privacy while maintaining easy access. The design features open ceilings with exposed services, lending an industrial look while enhancing the spacious feel of the office. A wooden baffle ceiling highlights the central island, serving as both an acoustic barrier and a design focal point. The color palette remains monotone, with each enclosed room reflecting its assigned brand through accents, graphics, and furnishings.
