The architectural and interior design of the clubhouse serves as a central hub for the residents of an urban housing development in Noida, India. It creates a sense of luxury while fostering a communal environment.
The design strategy began with addressing the west façade, which needed protection from the harsh evening sun while offering an unobstructed view of the pool. To achieve this, exterior-grade wooden louvers and vertical greens were incorporated into the design, alternating to create movement and dynamism in the façade.
The vertical gardens enhance the building’s aesthetics, softening the hard surfaces of the deck and providing a contrast to the surrounding architecture. This biophilic design approach, combined with rhythmic wooden screens, adds visual interest and breaks the monotony of the large building elevations.
The clubhouse program includes a spacious reception, family restaurant, ballroom, sports hall, theatre, and children’s play area. The interior design reflects a luxurious aura while meeting the communal needs of the residents. This clubhouse design exemplifies thoughtful architecture, blending functionality with sophistication.
