Residence Interiors – Nature Inspired
The 7,000 sqft duplex home was designed for a five-member Jain family. The home is situated in an apartment building located in Ludhiana with two apartments combined to create a duplex. The design of the home is an attempt to create an escape from the rusty-industrial town of Ludhiana.
The design of the house has been focused on the concepts of providing health and well being for the users by providing proper light, ventilation, and thermal comfort. Nature has been directly incorporated in the interiors by using natural materials like wood, bricks, terrazzo, brass and steel. Textures, Colors and shapes have been borrowed directly from nature to recreate a similar indoor environment.
